Ignore Errors/Desired Changes

Last updated 2 years ago

You can ignore certain errors while running your tests and analysis if you think they are not important or they are desired changes

To ignore errors, click on boxes and ignore the error for given number of days. The ignored errors from here will be added as temporary rules

Every time you ignore an error, HyperTest will do another test result analysis ignoring the error

If you mark an error as ignored, then it will be ignored during all future test runs as well.

Temporary Rules

  • Go to service dashboard

  • Navigate to Settings from left panel

  • Click on Temporary Rules to view your ignored errors

You can see the date till which the rule will be valid i.e. the error will be ignored in the last column of the table

Permanent Rules

You can also mark certain errors to be permanently ignored by adding them to permanent rules
